The National exposition of the Republic of Belarus is presented at the 23rd Kenya International Trade Exhibition, hosted by Nairobi on June 9–11. More than 10 leading Belarusian food industry and pharmaceutical enterprises take part in the exposition. Belarus has the status of an Official Country Partner. The exposition has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kenya. The exhibition operator is Belinterexpo company of the BelCCI.
The opening ceremony of the National Exposition of Belarus was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kenya Pavel Vzyatkin, Head of the Department for the Coordination of Supplies to the Domestic Market and Foreign Trade of the Belgospischeprom Concern Igor Grutso, Regional Director of Expogroup (Kenya International Trade Exhibition organizer) Duncan Ndzhage.
The pavilion of Belarus was also visited by the Chief Administrative Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kenya Mercy Mwangangi.
Participating in the Belarusian exposition are the Belgospischeprom concern subordinate enterprises – Minsk Margarine Plant, MINSK-KRISTALL, Belalko Brest Distillery, Klimovichi Distillery, Belsolod, as well as the Belmedpreparaty plant. Confectionery factories Kommunarka, Krasny Pischevik, Slodych, Krinitsa, as well as Lida Food Concentrates and Mashpishcheprod present their products in absentia.
The Belarusian pavilion is distinguished by the variety of presented products.
Kenya International Trade Exhibition covers a wide range of thematic sections: engineering, energy, agriculture, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, furniture and design. In 2022, more than 150 companies from 30 countries take part in the exhibition. Besides Belarus, national stands are represented by India, Iran, Italy, Malaysia and Turkey.
