The National pavilion of the Republic of Belarus at the 31st Vietnam Expo international exhibition kicked off on April 13.
The pavilion has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The co-organizers are Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Agriculture and Food, State Committee for Science and Technology, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Belgospischeprom Concern, regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee. The exhibition operator is the exhibition unitary enterprise "Belinterexpo" of the BelCCI.
The opening ceremony of the Belarusian pavilion was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov, heads of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and the Vietnam National Trade Fair (Vinexad), Director of the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the BelCCI Eugeniy Vvedenskiy.
The Belarusian pavilion features 35 enterprises and organizations of the country, including Minsk Tractor Works, Minsk Bearing Plant, Belshina, Grodno Azot, Naftan, Brest Distillery "Belalco", Belsolod, Klimovichi Distillery, Minsk Sparkling Wine Factory, Minsk Kristall, Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, Spartak confectionery, Babushkina Krynka, Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, Belmedpreparaty and Academpharm pharmaceutical enterprises, State Committee for Science and Technology, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and others. Belarus has the honorary "Special Guest" status at the exhibition.
Belarusian companies demonstrate engineering and petrochemical products, scientific, technical and innovative developments, pharmaceuticals, food products and beverages.
The exposition is accompanied by the business program events. In particular, on the opening day, a presentation of the export potential of Belarusian manufacturers Minsk Automobile Plant, Slutsk Cheese Factory, Naftan, Grodno Azot, Babushkina Krynka and Belmedpreparaty was held.
On the eve of the exhibition opening, representatives of Belarusian companies took part in the seminar organized by the Embassy of Belarus in Vietnam, attended the presentations of the Vietnamese market opportunities, B2B negotiations, and visited industrial facilities in Quang Ninh province.
The international exhibition Vietnam Expo is one of the largest trade and economic platforms in Southeast Asia. The event is held alternately in the cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. In 2022, more than 350 companies take part in the exhibition, representing 16 countries (Belarus, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, China, Korea, Cuba, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, USA, Sri Lanka, Japan, as well as from Hong Kong and Taiwan).The Vietnam Expo exhibition will last until April 16.
