National exposition of Belarus at FIA international exhibition in Algeria

Belarus presents its national exposition at the FIA international exhibition, which takes place in Algeria from June 20 to 25.

FIA is one of the most prestigious exhibition events in North Africa, as evidenced by the fact that its opening was attended by the President of the Algerian People's Democratic Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The national exposition of the Republic of Belarus involves 11 domestic enterprises representing various industries. The pavilion has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the exhibition enterprise "Belinterexpo" of BelCCI.

Leading industrial companies, such as OJSC "MAZ – the managing company of the Belavtomaz holding", and OJSC "BSW – the managing company of the BMK holding", as well as dairy producers, Slutsk Cheese Factory and Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, demonstrate their high-quality products and advanced technologies to exhibition visitors.

The collective stand of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus presents developments of the institutions of the Ministry of Education and organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, demonstrating more than 30 scientific, technical, and innovative developments.

On June 19, on the eve of the exhibition opening, the Algeria-Belarus forum was held with the participation of the President of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kamel Hamenni, Director-General of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hocine Zaoui, Deputy Director of Belinterexpo, Andrey Shakhanovich, Secretary of the Embassy of Belarus in Egypt, Igor Verigo, and representatives of business circles from both countries.

The forum included presentations on the trade, economic, and investment potential of Belarus and Algeria, as well as discussions on expanding cooperation between chambers of commerce and industry.
