Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev have visited the Caspian Agro international agricultural exhibition in Baku.
The heads of state got acquainted with the expositions of Belarus and Azerbaijan, having studied the potential of enterprises and promising areas of cooperation in agriculture.
Caspian Agro is co-located with Interfood Azerbaijan, another international exhibition running at the Baku Exhibition Center. Together, they have become the largest agricultural forum in the region. The exhibitions brought together about 500 companies from 38 countries. It is the fifth time that Belarus has participated in the even. All in all, 15 states are running their national pavilions. On the first day of the exhibition, Belarusian manufacturers signed $54 million worth of agreements.
