Seminar-consultation on the topic: "Reducing risks when concluding a foreign economic agreement: practical approaches to checking counterparties"

On March 28, 2023, the unitary enterprise "Mogilev branch of the BelCCI" organized a seminar-consultation on the topic "Reducing risks when concluding a foreign economic agreement: practical approaches to verify counterparties."

The topic was covered by the Head of the Department of Legal Support and Digital Technologies of the BelCCI, member of the Presidium of the International Arbitration Court at the BelCCI, arbitrator, mediator, Master of Laws Vitaly Vladimirovich Vabishchevich.

The seminar brought together more than 20 enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Belarus of various forms of ownership, both online and offline.

The audience was covered with problematic issues about the legal consequences and risks of concluding an agreement with an unfair counterparty, legal liability; about verification of foreign counterparties, the use of foreign sources, as well as verification methods, procedures and a list of issues that must be worked out before deciding to sign an agreement.
