The 38th Dalian World Expo-2025

On June 27, 2025, a delegation fr om the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the opening of the 38th Dalian World Expo-2025, which began with an official meeting between the heads of foreign delegations and Mr. Leng Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Dalian. Also present at the event from the Chinese side were: Ms. Zhou Yang, Deputy Secretary-General of the People's Municipal Government; Ms. Liu Ling, Member of the Secretariat of the Dalian Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; and Mr. Sun Lanyong, President of the Dalian Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Next, the delegation members, in accordance with their stated interests, proceeded to the conference room to conduct business negotiations in the B2B format between enterprises of the Brest region and the city of Dalian.

Over 40 negotiations were held during the working day. OJSC “Brest Regional Base “Bakaleya” collected samples of dried fish and snack foods. OKUPTP “Brestoblagroservis” and OJSC “Bereza Motor Repair Plant” submitted the necessary documents to the Chinese side to explore the possibility of importing spare parts for the equipment they service.

Following the negotiations, company representatives were divided into areas of cooperation and visited Chinese enterprises to learn about their operations. The parties identified promising areas of collaboration and expressed their intention to conduct further visits in the near future.

On June 28, 2025, on the second day of the exhibition, a delegation from the Brest branch of the BelCCI visited the individual stands of representatives of enterprises in Dalian, wh ere they were able to familiarize themselves with the market conditions of this region and held negotiations with Mr. Yu Hong Bo, Deputy Head of the Dalian Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
