The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Belarus Janita Abeywickrema Liyanage.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation and the implementation of projects in a wide range of fields, including agriculture, engineering, food industry, education and tourism. Besides, the negotiations addressed the possibilities to exchange business visits, holding of joint events through Chambers of Commerce and Industry, including an online meeting of businesspeople from both countries and a presentation of the trade and economic potential of Sri Lanka for the Belarusian business community.
