The Eurasian Economic Forum, which has the motto "Eurasian Integration in a Multipolar World", has started in Moscow.
As part of the business program of the forum, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov took part in the panel session "Entrepreneurship Development in Current Conditions".
In his speech, M. Myatlikov undderlined the need to involve the business community in the process of preparing legislative initiatives aimed at improving doing business conditions, defining clear, understandable and, most importantly, uniform laws within the EAEU space.
The participants of the meeting were presented with the proposals of the Belarusian business to improve the legislation to be discussed in the near future by experts from the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the EAEU countries. In addition, these initiatives are planned to be included in the agenda of the further work of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
In particular, the Belarusian side has made proposals to harmonize the legislation of the EAEU countries in the field of engineering products subsidizing, to introduce a single recycling fee for special self-propelled vehicles of foreign production in the EAEU, to abolish the payment of recycling fees in the EAEU countries on engineering products with a CT-1 certificate issued in one of the Union member states.
Taking into account the need for active work on the convergence of the EAEU countries legislation, the BelCCI suggested that the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the EAEU join forces in this direction and create a permanent expert group on the harmonization of legislation.
