Belarusian delegation visits the Republic of Komi

On August 25-28, the Grodno Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, Government of the Republic of Komi and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian region organized a Belarusian business mission to the Republic of Komi (Russian Federation).

The delegation, headed by the Chairman of Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Karanik, included the heads of executive authorities, enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Belarus (Grodno Regional Executive Committee, Grodno City Executive Committee, administration of Zavodskoi district of Minsk, UE "Grodno branch of the BelCCI", SI "Administration of FEZ "Grodnoinvest", SI "Administration of  FEZ "Minsk", OJSC "Holding Management Company "GrodnoOblselkhoztekhnika", OJSC "Molochny Mir", OJSC "Grodno Meat Processing Plant", OJSC "Lidapishcheconcentraty", LLC "Biocom Technology", OJSC "Holding Management Company "Grodnomyasomolprom", OJSC "Sanatorium "Ozerny", Grodno Zonal Plant Growing Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Yanka Kupala Grodno State University, OJSC "Minsk Bearing Plant", LLC "MAZ-Kupava Car Trailer and Bodies Plant", SEI "Palace of Children and Youth "Zolak" in Minsk", OJSC "Mogilevkhimvolokno", LLC "EKSAM", LLC "Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1"). Igor Milidovich, Head of the St. Petersburg Division of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Russian Federation, accompanied the delegation.

During the visit, a business event on cooperation between Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Komi was held in Syktyvkar, during which multimedia presentations of the economic, investment and tourism potential of Belarus were presented to Russian partners. In addition, B2B negotiations were organized, in which more than 40 companies from the Republic of Komi took part from the Russian side.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the State Institution "Administration of FEZ "Minsk" and the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Komi".

Belarusian delegation took part in the meeting of the Working Group on Cooperation between the Republic of Komi (Russian Federation) and Republic of Belarus, during which promising areas of cooperation in various fields were discussed.

During the visit to the exhibition "Property of the North 2022", the members of Belarusian delegation got acquainted with the economic potential of the Russian region, and also held additional business negotiations with business representatives of the Republic of Komi.

The Belarusian delegation also visited a number of industrial enterprises, educational institutions and social facilities in Syktyvkar and Ukhta.
