Visit of the Belarusian business circles to PRC

On April 11-18, 2024 the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a visit of the Belarusian delegation to China.

As part of the visit, the Belarusian delegation visited two leading world exhibitions the 135th Canton Import and Export Fair in Guangzhou and the International Exhibition HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2024 in Hong Kong.

At the sites of Chinese organizations and business associations, B2B negotiations were held with leading Chinese manufacturers of goods and equipment, a briefing was held at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Hong Kong, a consultative seminar on doing business in Hong Kong was held.

Business meetings of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry took place at the CCPIT in Guangzhou, at the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus, and at the Nanshi District Government.

Also, with the assistance of a representative of the BelCCI and the CCPIT, meetings of the delegation members with the Government of Fengcheng (subordinate to the city of Dandong) Liaoning Province and the representatives of Chinese business were held.

The delegation visited the enterprises producing automobile chassis, a cluster of medical companies, and an IT company.

The results of the visit: agreements on the further development of trade and economic cooperation were reached, business contacts were established, participants got acquainted with the latest trends in technology and equipment, new products, and successful negotiations on the supply of the latest equipment and spare parts to Belarus were held.
