Meeting with the Kamchatka region delegation

A delegation of business circles from the Kamchatka region of the Russian Federation, led by the President of the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kamchatka region", Dmitry Korostelev, visited the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of the visit of the Governor of the, Vladimir Solodov, to the Republic of Belarus, which takes place on February 4–7.

Chairman of the BelCCI Mikhael Miatlikov had a meeting with the head of the CCI of Kamchatka. The meeting was also attended by Gennady Cherny, General Director of the Mogilev Branch of the BelCCI, which coordinates work with the Kamchatka region within the system of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of interaction through the chambers of commerce and industry, possible directions for deepening trade and economic cooperation, increasing the range of supplied goods, and the possibility of simplifying logistics chains were discussed. The Russian side noted the high quality of Belarusian foodstuffs and light industry products.

Dmitry Korostelev invited sinior executives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Belarusian business circles to pay a return visit to the Kamchatka region.

Following the meeting of the heads of the chambers of commerce and industry, B2B meetings took place between representatives of Belarusian and Kamchatka enterprises and organizations. The participants held intense talks on the development of partnerships in the food industry, fish processing, pharmaceuticals, logistics, as well as in other areas. As a result of the negotiations, useful business contacts were established and specific agreements were reached.

In addition, during the visit, the delegation of the Kamchatka region plans to visit a number of enterprises in Belarus, where meetings will be held with management representatives, presentations of production sites and products will take place.
