The second day of participation of the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov in the events of the Third Eurasian Economic Forum, which is taking place in Yerevan, began with a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Cuba Antonio Carricarte Corona and representatives of government agencies and businesses of Cuba – participants of the EAEU-Cuba Business Dialogue.
The meeting focused on the possibilities of deepening business contacts between Belarus and Cuba, developing business ties in such promising areas as pharmaceuticals, agriculture and agricultural engineering, and setting up joint ventures. In addition, the sides discussed topical issues related to the transportation and logistics chains, the use of Cuba's potential as a possible logistics hub between the EAEU and other Latin American and Caribbean states, as well as the specifics of mutual settlements.
The heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry agreed to intensify cooperation through business associations, as well as to jointly organize events and business meetings.
The Chairman of the BelCCI also took part in the plenary session of the Third Eurasian Economic Forum, which featured speeches by the heads of government of the EAEU countries.
