The Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation, the Sri Lanka Export Development Board, supported by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a webinar on developing bilateral trade with Sri Lanka.
Participating in the webinar were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Meegahalande Durage Lamawansa, Deputy Chairman of the BelCCI Denis Meleshkin, Director of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study Valery Sadokho, Director – Export Agriculture of the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka Malani Baddegamage, Acting Director – Industrial Products of the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka Harsha Pathberiya. More than 50 businessmen from both states followed the broadcast.
Within the event, the potential opportunities to expand trade and economic cooperation with Sri Lanka were presented, as well as the possibilities to set up joint ventures; presentations of Sri Lanka's export products, business and investment climate of both states were made.Photo
