Made in Belarus exposition at InterFood Azerbaijan and CaspianAgro Azerbaijan exhibitions in Baku

The Made in Belarus exposition is presented at the 28^th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition (InterFood Azerbaijan) and the 16^th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition (CaspianAgro Azerbaijan), which are held from 17 to 19 May in Baku.

The solemn opening ceremony of the Made in Belarus exposition took place on May 17 with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan Andrey Ravkov and representatives of state bodies of Azerbaijan.

On May 17, the exhibitions, including the Belarusian stand, were visited by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. He got acquainted with the products presented by domestic enterprises and discussed cooperation issues with Andrei Ravkov, Ambassador of Belarus. Ilham Aliyev stressed that Belarusian products are known in Azerbaijan and valued for their high quality.

This year, 479 companies from 31 countries take part in the exhibitions. Belarus is a traditional participant of these events in Baku. The Belarusian exposition has been organized by the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Belarusian pavilion is distinguished by the variety of products on display. The meat industry segment includes beef meat, sausages, semi-finished products, canned meat from the Managing Company of the Concern Brestmyasomolprom Holding and Brest Meat Processing Plant.

The dairy segment includes whole milk products, glazed curds, milkshakes and various types of cheese. Among the participants are such companies as Mozyr Dairy Products, Lida Dairy Canning Plant, Luninets Dairy Plant, Babushkina Krynka – the managing company of the holding Mogilev Dairy Company Babushkina Krynka, Kobrin Butter and Cheese Factory, Molochny Gostinets State Enterprise and Belovezhskiye Syry Joint-Stock Company.

The exhibition presents a segment of confectionery products, in particular, the Krasny Pishchevik factory offers visitors marmalade products, sweets, marshmallows and dragees.

The Caspian Agro exhibition demonstrates advanced technologies in the fields of animal husbandry, poultry farming, crop production, veterinary medicine, plant protection and fertilizers. JSC "Gomselmash" invites visitors to get acquainted with the latest research developments and technological solutions that are successfully implemented in the production of agricultural machinery.

The Belarusian exposition at the Interfood Azerbaijan and Caspian Agro exhibitions enjoys increased attention from visitors interested in cooperation in the food industry and agriculture.
