
A Belarusian delegation is on a business visit to the Ulyanovsk Oblast. The visit is being conducted jointly with the Minsk Regional Executive Committee under the leadership of its Chairman, Alexey Kushnarenko.
A round table on industrial cooperation between the Minsk and Ulyanovsk Regions was held as part of the visit. Alexey Kushnarenko noted that mechanical engineering is a key growth driver for both regions. "Today's meeting is designed to promote the strengthening of our friendly ties, the exchange of experience, and the search for new opportunities for the joint development of production, innovative projects, and economic cooperation. In Minsk,as well as in Ulyanovsk, this sector is one of the economic priorities," emphasized the Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
The round table served as a platform for exchanging ideas and discussing prospects for joint work. Moreover, documents aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation were signed.
Furthermore, B2B negotiations between business representatives of the two regions were held at the venue of the Ulyanovsk CCI, where issues of promoting Belarusian goods and services and establishing mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed.
The meeting concluded with the signing of an agreement on the accession of the Ulyanovsk CCI to the Minsk "Partnership Chamber" initiative, which will create tools for effective interaction between the chambers of commerce and industry.
Ulyanovsk Region, one of Russia's key industrial and agricultural centers with a GRP of about 480 billion Russian rubles, boasts a developed manufacturing industry and an agricultural sector. During the visit, the Belarusian delegation will tour the region's leading enterprises to exchange experiences and seek new opportunities for joint projects.
