29 July 2024

Certificates of membership in the country's largest business community, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were presented to the heads of 18 enterprises in Minsk and Minsk Region. The ceremony took place today at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Among the companies that have decided to more actively use the benefits of the "Member of the BelCCI" status are representatives of a wide range of areas of activity, including legal and financial services, trade, mechanical engineering, industrial production, electrical industry, food industry, IT technologies, pharmaceuticals and medical device manufacturing, unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing, development of cybersecurity products, and others. The new members of the BelCCI are both young representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises that have already successfully established themselves in the market, but want to develop foreign economic activity together with the Chamber's experts.

It is noteworthy that a number of enterprises are already familiar with the services of the BelCCI and have successfully used some of the support tools to resolve problematic issues that they had to face in the current situation on foreign markets. Sanctions compliance, confirmation of force majeure, inclusion in the Register of bona fide partners, receiving recommendations from the Chamber for foreign counterparties as a guarantee of payments, participation in educational events - these are just some of the services that are especially in demand by Belarusian businesses joining the BelCCI.

"The presentation of certificates is an important event. On the one hand, it is solemn, but on the other, it is practical. In the round table format, we will be able to talk in detail about the entire range of services offered by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - and this is more than 100 types of services and areas of activity. In addition, such an event is an opportunity to hear from enterprises about their capabilities, expectations, and initiatives within the BelCCI system," said Sergey Nabeshko, General Director of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI. He also noted a number of areas that are of concern and interest to businesses at the moment: the possibility of moving goods, reorienting transport and financial flows, sanctions restrictions, searching for partners in various areas - in the Russian Federation and in the "far arc" countries and good business practices. "What forms the agenda is, of course, business proposals. The Chamber always tries to be at the forefront of these requests, expanding the range of services, transforming them, constantly being in contact with enterprises to help them cope with modern challenges," emphasized the Director General of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI.

Services in the field of legal support for foreign economic activity were presented by the Head of the Department of Legal Support and Digital Technologies of the BelCCI Vitaly Vabishchevich. Deputy Director General of the Minsk branch Irina Kutsko spoke about the work of the Chamber in the field of examination and certification.

During the discussion, the heads of enterprises presented real cases of successful cooperation with the BelCCI, and asked questions to experts. The participants of the event agreed that the status of a member of the BelCCI today is prestigious, it is truly a quality mark for Belarusian enterprises, a sign of integrity and reliability as a partner.

In conclusion, new active members of the BelCCI were awarded with the certificates of the business community. The certificates of membership in the BelCCI were awarded to 18 organizations in Minsk and the Minsk region
