
On May 29-31, the Grodno Branch of the BelCCI, together with the Astrakhan Fund for Support of Small and Medium Enterprises, organized a business mission from the Republic of Belarus to Astrakhan region of Russian Federation.
The Belarusian delegation included representatives of FEZ Grodnoinvest Administration, LLC "Fruitreal", LLC "Eurotorg", LLC "Beloe More", LLC "Anikstorg", UE "Stalnaya Energia" and Novogrudok forestry.
During the visit, a business event was held, within the framework of which multimedia presentations of the economic, investment and tourism potential of Grodno and Astrakhan regions were held. Business negotiations were organized in b2b format with the participation of more than 20 business representatives from Belarus and Astrakhan region.
During stay in Astrakhan region the Belarusian delegation visited a number of enterprises in the Russian region: LLC "ARK Beluga", LLC "Next", LLC "Sedoi Kaspiy", LLC "PKF Berkut" and peasant farm of individual entrepreneur Anufriev E.A.
During the visit, a contract was signed for the supply of fish products to the Republic of Belarus. In addition, preliminary agreements were reached on the supply of fruits and vegetables (including early potatoes) to the Belarusian market, as well as pumping equipment manufactured by LLC "Sarmat+".
An additional result of the business mission was negotiations on the supply of Belarusian lumber to Astrakhan region.
In addition, following the results of negotiations between the deputy general director for FEA of Grodno Branch of the BelCCI Konstantin Kaikov and the head of tourism development department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Astrakhan region Irina Terkulova, an agreement was reached to hold online presentations of the tourism potential of Grodno and Astrakhan regions with the participation of businessmen from the two regions.
Also, Konstantin Kaikov had a working meeting with the president of Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stanislav Sinchenko, where further holding of joint foreign economic activities was discussed.
