The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belarus and Tanzania signed a cooperation agreement

The cooperation agreement between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tanzania was signed by the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Republic of Belarus (concurrently) Fredrick Ibrahim Kibuta.

The signing took place during the visit of the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa to the Republic of Belarus.

The Republic of Belarus considers Tanzania an important partner in East Africa and is ready to support the African country in its quest for economic development, to promote the strengthening of mutually beneficial relations.

At present, large-scale programs for the development of the economy, agriculture, transport, education and healthcare are being implemented in Tanzania.

Belarus sees significant prospects for expanding cooperation in such areas as mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, medical, food and military-technical industries, and tourism.
