Participation in the International Municipal Forum of the BRICS countries

The Director General of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Nabeshko took part in the events of the International Municipal Forum of the BRICS countries on August 27-28, 2024 in Moscow.

The International Municipal Forum of the BRICS countries is an important platform for the exchange of experience and ideas between the representatives of regional and municipal governments from the BRICS countries, as well as for building effective business communications with entrepreneurs from Russia and other partner countries. The event was held with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, as well as with the assistance of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Government of Moscow.

As part of the general programme of the Forum, a session was held on the “Role of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of BRICS Megacities in the Development of Economy and Entrepreneurship” with the participation of the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Platonov, Minister of the Moscow Government and the Head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow Sergey Cheremin, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Vladimir Padalko, and the heads of regional and foreign CCIs. In the plenary discussion, Sergey Nabeshko spoke on “The Role of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Development of the Investment Climate of Minsk”, and also took part in panel sessions and discussions of the forum.

 This event allowed the heads of chambers of commerce and industry to exchange best practices, become acquainted with global trends, and conditions and capabilities of the chamber system.
