Visit of the delegation of the Omsk region to Minsk

The Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Omsk Region (Russian Federation) and the Center for Support of  Foreign Economic Relations  Participants of the Omsk Region, organized a visit of the Omsk delegation to Minsk on March 24–27, 2024.

As part of the visit, on March 25, a business forum “Belarus - Omsk Region” was held, which was opened by Alexander Turchin, Chairman of the Minsk Region Executive Committee, and Vitaly Khotsenko, Governor of the Omsk Region, Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region.

Two documents aimed at expanding cooperation were signed: between the Minsk branch of the BelCCI and the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and between Management Company of Gomelagrokomplekt Holding OJSC and Omsk Scientific and Research Institute of Instrument Engineering JSC.

Also during the business forum, issues of interaction in the industrial sector were highlighted. The Belarusian side was represented by Sergey Nabeshko, General Director of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI, Vitaly Borchuk, Head of the Main directorate of foreign economic relations of the Ministry of Industry and Alexander Bashliy, Head of the Department of foreign economic relations of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange OJSC.

The Russian side was represented by 20 enterprises, the Belarusian side by 115.

On March 26–27, a delegation fr om the Omsk region will visit Belarusian enterprises, wh ere they will get acquainted with production and hold negotiations.
