Meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus to Oman Abdullah Al Kharthy

Dr. Masoud Abdullah Al Kharthy, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus to the Sultanate of Oman, Member of the Board of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dr. Al Kharty was accompanied by Dr. Siham Ahmed Yusouf Al Kharthi, Member of the OCCI Board, Head of the OCCI Tourism Committee.

During the meeting with the Head of the BelCCI Department of International Cooperation and Exhibition Activities Aleksandr Golovarev, promising areas for expanding the Belarus-Oman trade and economic cooperation were discussed, as well as the issues of interaction between the BelCCI and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including the actualization of the Cooperation Agreement between the two organizations and the creation of the Belarusian-Omani Business Committee on the basis of a bilateral business cooperation council. The Business Committee is headed by Dr. Al Kharty.

Besides, the parties discussed the possibility of holding the first meeting of the Belarusian-Omani Business Committee in Belarus in 2023, and agreed on organizing an online meeting of the two countries' businesses interested in cooperation in tourism in the near future.
