The meeting of Sergey Nabeshko (Director General of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI) and Irina Ivanova (Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI) with representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran and Iranian business circles took place in the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the auspices of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Belarus.
They discussed the organization of mutually beneficial bilateral business visits and promising areas of business cooperation.
The topic of the forthcoming business visit of the Belarusian delegation to Tehran was discussed separately. The visit is timed to coincide with the international exhibition ‘Eurasia Expo 2025’ and will take place from 22 to 27 February 2025.
Reference. Eurasia Expo 2025 will be held in Tehran from 24 to 27 February 2025. The main exhibitors are companies and organisations of the Eurasian Economic Union. More than 10,000 visitors from 40 countries, including China, Indonesia, Korea, India, Egypt, Serbia and some Latin American countries, are expected to attend. The main sectors are agriculture, food industry, mechanical engineering, construction, oil and gas, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and others.
The business visit to Tehran is organised by the Minsk branch of the BelCCI with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Islamic Republic of Iran. A intense business programme is planned during the visit. Belarusian participants will have an opportunity to establish direct contacts and conduct B2B negotiations in order to develop mutually beneficial co-operation with managers and representatives of Iranian companies.
