A meeting with Political Counsellor of the South African Embassy

A meeting was held at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry between the head of the BelCCI International Cooperation and Exhibition Activities Department, Alexander Golovarev, and the Political Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, Douw Vermaak.

The parties discussed the prospects for expanding business cooperation between Belarus and South Africa in the agro-industrial sector, in IT sphere, and opportunities for industrial cooperation – localization of Belarusian agricultural machinery production in South Africa. Mr. Vermak invited BelCCI and Belarusian businesses to participate in significant international events in Russia, including the economic forum and Russia–Africa summit, as well as Business Week within the BRICS summit, which will be held in South Africa.
