Visiting session of the Project Office for Supporting Industrial Cooperation in the EAEU

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a visiting session of the Project Office for Supporting Industrial Cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the BelCCI Denis Meleshkin, representatives of the Project Office – Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kurochkin and Advisor to the President of the Rosspetsmash Association Anastasia Astakhova, as well as representatives of chambers of commerce and industry of the EAEU member states, the Eurasian Economic Commission, and financial institutions.

The implementation of the mechanism for financial assistance to industrial cooperation in the EAEU – this topic was high on the agenda of the session attendees in the BelCCI hall and online. The speakers outlined the key areas and strategies for the development of the industrial sector within the integration association, as well as projects to create new industrial sites with the participation of enterprises from the EAEU member countries. Special attention was paid to innovation and digitalisation of industry, which is a key factor in achieving technological leadership in the international arena.

On the eve of the session, the delegation of the Project Office from the Russian Federation visited Belarusian enterprises and organisations, including OAO(JSC) Integral, Minsk City Technopark, OAO(JSC) Belshina, OAO(JSC) MAZ, as well as OOO(LLC) Alpha Orion, OOO(LLC) Labpharma, OOO(LLC) Science Solutions, OOO(LLC) InKata Product Development. The meetings organized by the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI at the enterprises gave the guests an opportunity to get a more detailed picture of the readiness of joint projects in industry with the participation of enterprises of the Union countries, terms and conditions of their implementation, as well as to find new areas of cooperation in the development of industrial cooperation in general.
