The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov took part in the meeting of the Advisory Council of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States' Chambers.
The meeting was devoted to the introduction of the financial mechanisms to support industrial cooperation projects from the EAEU budget.
The heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry noted the need to intensify joint work in order to form a consolidated position of industrialists of the EAEU member states when discussing draft legal acts of the EAEU on the procedure for providing financial support for cooperation projects.
At present, the parties are working on an initiative to jointly create a specialized structure, the Project Office to Support Cooperation in the EAEU, by the chambers of the five countries. The main objectives of the Office will be to assist domestic manufacturers in finding potential partners for the implementation of promising cooperation projects and to provide business with consulting support on the application of financial support mechanisms.
